JACKSON, Mo. -- David G. Beeson, 54, of Jackson died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo.

He was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Perryville, Mo., son of Don and Muriel Huber Beeson. He and Diana Beeson were married Aug. 31, 1968.

Beeson was a 1969 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and 1973 graduate of Memphis State Law School.

He practiced law 27 years with Buerkle, Beeson, Ludwig, Jackson and Boner Law Firm. He was currently attorney for the cities of Jackson and Perryville.

Beeson was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was past president and board member of Brehm Preparatory School for the learning disabled in Carbondale, Ill., and past president of Cape County Bar Association.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was awarded a Purple Heart.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jessica and Alexandria Beeson; his mother; two brothers; and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 5-8 p.m. today, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
