McCLURE, Ill. -- David Lee "Speedy" Anderson, 43, of rural McClure, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, near McClure from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was born June 18, 1961, in Anna, Ill., son of Edward Dwain Anderson and Frieda Dickerson Anderson.
He was a member of the Laborers' International Union of North America and was a construction laborer.
Surivors include his wife Georgia Capshaw Anderson; a son, Jamie Ozment of McClure; two daughters, Misty Capshaw of Cape Girardeau and Stephanie Capshaw of St. Louis; three brothers, Larry Anderson of Anna, Clinton Anderson of Percy, Ill. and Lynn Anderson of McClure; a sister, Bernell Abercrombie of Tamms; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call between 5 and 8 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will be in the Cummins Cemetery in rural McClure.
