KELSO -- Funeral mass for Darron Lee Jansen of Kelso will be held at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. The Rev. James Seyer will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran is in charge of arrangements.
Jansen, 23, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received in a work-related accident.
He was born July 1, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, son of David Lee and Charlotte Kay Liles Jansen. He and Michelle Lynn Rukstad were married Jan. 8, 1994, at Oran.
Jansen graduated in May from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
He was a heavy equipment operator with Dumey Excavation Inc. of Oran. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church, and Knights of Columbus Council 4311 at Oran.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; a brother, Chad Jansen; a sister, Kerri Jansen; paternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Jansen, and maternal grandmother, Opal Liles, all of Oran.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
