CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Darrell J. Miller, 58, of Chaffee died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in Cairo, Ill., son of James Talmadge and Freeda Irene Harvell Miller. He and Virginia Lee May were married Sept. 30, 1960...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Darrell J. Miller, 58, of Chaffee died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in Cairo, Ill., son of James Talmadge and Freeda Irene Harvell Miller. He and Virginia Lee May were married Sept. 30, 1960.

Miller was the owner of Faust Machine Co. in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; one son, David Miller of Whitewater, Mo.; two daughters, Jackie Benefield of Cape Girardeau and Shellie Seyer of Chaffee; his mother; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, with the Rev. Eric Hodges officiating.
