Darrell Eugene Lamb, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 2, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 6, 1952, in Salem, Indiana, to Albert Edward and Edna Lucille Spurgeon Lamb. He and Linda Jones were married April 24, 2015, at Daystar Nursing Home in Cairo, Illinois. She preceded him in death Jan. 28, 2020.
Darrell worked as a line worker in a cheese factory.
He was a member of Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau and a member of the Rotary Club in Salem. He worked with the club's annual fireworks display. He also served as a Santa Claus while living in Salem. Darrell enjoyed writing poetry.
Survivors include his brother, John (Sharon) Lamb of Salem; sister, Carol Cashon of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; two nieces and three nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry Dean Lamb; and sister, Marsha Diane.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau with Pastor Zack Strong officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
