Darrall Allan Lemons, 43, of DeSoto died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, at his home.
He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in St. Louis, son of Cleo Elwood and Marjorie J. Crader Lemons.
Lemons previously owned and operated the Ozark Village Furniture Store, and also owned a used furniture auction company. He had worked on the Casino Queen and Admiral casinos.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving two years in Panama, and five years as recruiter and station commander in Festus. He was a member of Ancon Masonic Lodge AF&AM in Balboa, Republic of Panama.
Survivors include a son, Darrall Lemons of DeSoto; two daughters, Jackie and Amanda Lemons of DeSoto; his mother, Marjorie Clubb of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Roger Lemons of Benton, Ronald Lemons of Maplewood, Donald Lemons of Sikeston; and a sister, Carol Halbert of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Dale Hall will officiate, with burial in Whitener Cemetery at Marquand.
Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until service time.
