DARLENE VANGENNIP

ADVANCE -- Darlene VanGennip, 39, of Advance died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 12, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Norman and Betty Schott Burger. She and David VanGennip were married Sept. 16, 1989, at Kelso.

VanGennip was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, David and Darren VanGennip of the home; her mother, Betty Burger of Kelso; a brother, Michael Burger of Paducah, Ky.; a sister, Debbie Gawf of Bonne Terre; and maternal grandmother, Frieda Schott of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Frederick Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
