BENTON, Mo. — Darlene Marie Tallman, daughter of the late William Robert Martin and Beulah Faye Held, was born Jan. 14, 1955, in South Haven, Michigan, and departed her life Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 68 years.

She was a homemaker and a resident of Benton. She was a member of Father's Arms Fellowship in Scott City,

On April 9, 1977, Darlene was united in marriage to Gary Tallman Sr. in Vancouver, Washington. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2022.

Survivors include four daughters, Lisa (Daniel Cureton) Tallman of Cape Girardeau, Dianna (Chris) Tallman-Henderson of Benton, Christy Martin of Cape Girardeau and Kalie (Aiden Best) Wolfe of Benton; son, Gary (Amber) Tallman Jr. of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren, Brendan, Kylei, Kaden, Taylor, Laura, Logan, Alexis, Zoey, Nichole, Terralynn and Raymond Martin Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Hallie Jade, Camden, Grayson, Brynleigh, Asher, Jordan Lee, Amelia and Aleah; two brothers, David and Raymond Martin; and four sisters, Wanda Gordon, Vickie Brown, Kimberly Damron and Lillian Williams.

Besides her husband and parents, Darlene was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Steven Martin, and a sister, Carla Gordon.

Celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Father's Arms Fellowship, with Pastor Ken Strong officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
