Darla Ann Hess, 53, of Delta passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 29, 1961, in Delta, daughter of Larry and Jane Hefner James. She and Doug Hess were married May 10, 1980, at Delta. Darla enjoyed scrapbooking...

Darla Ann Hess, 53, of Delta passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 29, 1961, in Delta, daughter of Larry and Jane Hefner James. She and Doug Hess were married May 10, 1980, at Delta.

Darla enjoyed scrapbooking.

Survivors include her husband; father, Larry James of Bloomsdale, Missouri; two sons, Robert (Alisha Brown) Hess of Perkins, Missouri, and Dustin (Tammi) Hess of Delta; two daughters, Nikkii (Jason) Pope of Delta and Sara (Bobby) Brown of Perryville, Missouri; a brother, Pete (Tanya) Friedrich of Perryville; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Joseph, Zackery, Brandon, Lexi, Molly, Blake, Nick, David and Luke; and a grandson on the way, Jake.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Kinder officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery.
