DANNY WADE MCCALLISTER

GIDEON -- Danny Wade McCallister, 45, of Gideon died Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 3, 1951, in Gideon, son of Hubert and Martha Hill McCallister. He married Sharon Henson on May 1, 1971, in Gideon, and she survives him.

He was a production manager at Ozark Wire and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by a son, Jason McCallister of Gideon; a daughter, Stacey McCallister of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Jeff McCallister of Portageville; and two sisters, Faye Rodgers of Checotah, Okla., and Terry Walker of Tahlequah, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Gideon with the Rev. Jack Leathers officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery near Clarkton with the Bradshaw Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
