Danny E. Putz, 57, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at his home. He was born March 15, 1963, in Cape Girardeau to Edward and Lavon Parrish Putz. He and Michelle Nagel were married March 24, 2001. Danny was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School. He was self-employed in the logging industry and was also a timber purchaser for Perryville Stave Company...

Danny E. Putz, 57, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at his home.

He was born March 15, 1963, in Cape Girardeau to Edward and Lavon Parrish Putz. He and Michelle Nagel were married March 24, 2001.

Danny was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School. He was self-employed in the logging industry and was also a timber purchaser for Perryville Stave Company.

Danny had a great love for the Lord and attended Shawnee Hills Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Loving survivors include his wife of nearly 20 years, Michelle Putz of Jackson; two children, Faith Putz of the home and Brandon (Crystal) Dietiker, and their children, Maddie and Mason of Sullivan, Missouri; three half siblings, Ron (Linda) Putz of Millersville, Doris Putz of Cape Girardeau and June (Don) Sides of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Graveside committal service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Bethel Cemetery near Pocahontas.

Memorials for Faith's education are suggested. Please make checks payable to Michelle Putz.
