Danny Owen Farrow, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 9, 2007, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 15, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, son of Pearl Edward and Mamie Elizabeth Gray Farrow. He and Mary Anne Palsgrove were married March 27, 1964, in Cape Girardeau. He later married Brenda Sue McDaniels Duke on June 24, 1984, in St. Louis.
Farrow was a 1962 graduate of Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was president of Cape Jaycees from 1979 to 1980 and former member of Kiwanis, Noon Optimist, MDA Association, MS Society and Chamber of Commerce. Farrow worked for Sears as customer service manager. He took medical retirement in June 1976 after having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1973. He also published Rose City Net Web site, www.rosecity.net.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Owen Farrow of Cape Girardeau, Brendan Lee Duke of St. Louis; a daughter, Michele Lea Duke Shirrell of Oak Ridge; a brother, Ronald Edward Farrow of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Sandra Pearl Farrow and Linda Elizabeth Shirrell of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Thomas Anthony Shirrell, Gavin Luke Farrow, Brooke Nikkole Shirrell and Michael Zachary Nash Shirrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. David Pringle officiating.
Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
