He was born June 4, 1953, in Modesto.

Dodd worked at Procter & Gamble in Modesto from November 1981 until transferring to the Procter & Gamble plant in Cape Girardeau in September 1992. He worked in the diapers division.

He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Ceres, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Jason and Aaron Dodd of Modesto; a daughter, Michelle Dodd of Modesto; six brothers, Michael Yeager of Lakewood, Larry and Robert Dodd of Modesto, Cecil Dodd of Fresno, Tommy Dodd of Turlock, Billy Dodd of LaGrange; a sister, Carolyn Wilson of Modesto; and four grandchildren.

Funeral was June 26 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Hughson, Calif. Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park.
