LOWNDES -- Daniel W. McGee, 79, of Lowndes, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Feb. 9, 1915, at McGee, son of Daniel Blair and Esther James McGee. He and Joyce Gallamore were married Aug. 17, 1955, in Hernando, Miss.
McGee was a retired logger and timber worker, and attended Lowndes United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tobias McGee of Lowndes; four daughters, Mary Rogers of Dudley, Carol McGee and Janice Eads of Lowndes, Jane Hillis of Williamsville; two sisters, Nelda Corbin of Mt. Pleasant, N.C., Sybil Hopkins of Wood River, Ill., and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Miler officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
