Daniel G. Reid, 45, of Bradenton, Fla., died unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, in Bradenton.
He was born Feb. 1, 1961, in St. Louis, son of L.C. and Louise Reid. He and Terrie McCormick were married Sept. 5, 1987.
Reid moved to Bradenton in 1988. He was fleet supervisor with Manatee County Transit.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Reid of Bradenton; a daughter, Danielle Reid of St. Louis; a brother, Lonnie Reid of Jackson; eight sisters, Wilma McDaniel of Westport, Ind., Velma Smith of Lilbourn, Mo., Alene Woolsey of Sikeston, Mo., Faye Myers and Linda Parker of Scott City, June Perez of Jackson, Betty Baehr of Granite City, Ill., Sharon Clemons of Owensville, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home in Bradenton. Entombment will follow.
