DALVA R. KENNEDY

MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral service for Dalva Ruth Kennedy of Millersville will be held at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Patton. The Rev. Kirby Grindstaff will officiate, with burial in Liberty Cemetery near Marquand.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.

Kennedy, 45, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 14, 1949, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of M.A. and Beverly Freeman. She married Jerry W. Kennedy Jan. 30, 1964.

Kennedy was a member of American Legion Auxiliary in Sikeston, and Eagles Auxiliary in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Kennedy of Patton; her mother of Sikeston; her birth mother, Desi Waller of St. Louis; a brother, Danny Freeman of Sikeston; two sisters, Cathy Gardner of Sikeston, Dana Williams of Wisconsin, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son and her father.
