POCAHONTAS -- Dallas F. Bruhl, 77, of Pocahontas died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1922, at Pocahontas, son of Rudolf and Edna Adams Bruhl. He and Gleeda Ruehling were married Aug. 21, 1948.
He was a farmer in the Pocahontas community since 1948. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and served on various church committees. He was a former Farm Bureau board member and had been a Safe-Mark Tire Dealer for the Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wif; four sons, Gary, Larry, Duane and Mark Bruhl, all of Jackson; three daughters, Judy, Donna and Lisa Bruhl, all of Jackson; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Rev. John Kiehl will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
