BLODGETT, Mo. -- Dale Riley, 67, of Blodgett, died Monday, July 7, 2003, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Blodgett, son of Rollie Roy and Annie Laura Oldham Riley.
He worked as a meat cutter 32 years for the Kroger company throughout Southeast Missouri and Arkansas.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Vicki Hobbs and Dana Riley of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Kaye Riley of Roswell, Ga.; two brothers, Dean and Richard Riley of Blodgett; two sisters, Ruby Hurst and Earline Foster of Blodgett; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Johnnie Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, with full military honors by New Madrid American Legion Post 595.
