WYATT -- Dale Litchford, 76, of Wyatt, died Thursday, June 15, 1995, at his home. He was born April 23, 1919, in Obion County, Tenn., son of Joe Lexie and Lovie Mae Reeves Litchford. He and Thelma Louise Murphy were married Aug. 5, 1941. Litchford was owner and manager of Litchford Service Station in Charleston 24 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Charleston Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II...

WYATT -- Dale Litchford, 76, of Wyatt, died Thursday, June 15, 1995, at his home.

He was born April 23, 1919, in Obion County, Tenn., son of Joe Lexie and Lovie Mae Reeves Litchford. He and Thelma Louise Murphy were married Aug. 5, 1941.

Litchford was owner and manager of Litchford Service Station in Charleston 24 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Charleston Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vickie Ice of Cache, Ill.; a brother, Joe Litchford of Greencastle, Ind.; two grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Phil Nuernberger officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
