Mrs. Daisy Mabel Smith, 99, of Fountainbleau Lodge, died there Monday, April 29, 1991.
She was born Dec. 24, 1891, at Jackson, daughter of Milton and Maggie Campbell Gholson. She married Joe S. Smith Dec. 19, 1917, in Tennessee. He died April 30, 1950.
Smith was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Royal Neighbors, and had been a member of Capaha Homemakers Club more than 50 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Imogene Pind of Cape Girardeau, Marybeth Coleman of Jefferson City; two sisters, Mary Masters and Bess Barks of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Dr. Charles Grant will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
