Daisy Grace Davis, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born March 8, 1908, at Commerce, Mo., daughter of George W. and Mollie Wakefield Brundrett. She and Leo Davis were married June 10, 1936, at Illmo, Mo.
Daisy moved from Illmo to Cape Girardeau in 1942. She was a machine operator at Ely Walker Co. seven years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, charter member of United Methodist Women, and past president of Ladies Bible Class. She was a 70-year member and past matron of Cape Rock Chapter 60 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, George and Germaine Davis of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Christopher G. Davis of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Karen Sue Mitchell of Jackson, Mo.; and a great-granddaughter, Samantha Davis of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, two half brothers and a half sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 10-10:45 a.m. today.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the gazebo in Cape County Memorial Park. The Rev. Jerry Statler will officiate.
