Daisy Bromley

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Daisy Leora Bromley, 89, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 15, 1922, in East Prairie, Mo., daughter of William T. and Maude Anderson Newman. She and Arthur Bromley were married July 12, 1946. He passed away July 18, 1990.

Daisy was a member of the Community Church.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur H. Bromley of Marble Hill, William Bromley of Cunningham, Tenn.; five daughters, Ruth Bromley of Marble Hill, Patricia Shipley of Waterloo, Ill., Barbara Bromley of Kelso, Mo., Lois Wolters of Wingo, Ky., Shelby Warner of Perryville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Interment will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
