Zielinski, 65, died Friday, March 17, 2000, in Gdynia-Ortowo, Poland.

He was born July 18, 1934, in Muensterwalde, KreisDirsu, Poland, son of Alfons and Agnieska Stryzik Zielinski. He and Shirley McGaugh were married June 2, 1964.

Formerly of Cape Girardeau, he had been a machinist at Baltik Precision Machine Co.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lucian, and wife, Molly, Zielinski of Cape Girardeau; his father of Poland; three grandchildren, Candless S., Saylor C. and Zachary L. Zielinski, all of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
