Cyril Glastetter, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at his home.
He was born Nov. 2, 1916, at New Hamburg, Mo., son of Martin Joseph and Bertha Gerst Glastetter. He and Hilda Winschel were married Sept. 1, 1947, at Apple Creek, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 20, 1941, to July 31, 1941. He was a custodian at Notre Dame High School. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Cyrus Glastetter of Polson, Mont., Cyril M. Glastetter of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Clyde Glastetter of Lafayette, Colo.; a sister, Aurelia Robert of New Hamburg; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers.
Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent De Paul Church.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Revs. Don Glastetter, Norbert Ernst and Charles Prost officiating.
