CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral for Cynthia M. Rundles of Cairo will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cairo United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Robert Burchyett will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
Friends may call at the church Thursday from 11 a.m. to service time.
Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
Rundles, 59, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 23, 1939, in Harrisburg, Ill., daughter of Roe and Eva Brooks Joyner. She married Donald Rundles.
Rundles was a member of Cairo United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband; seven sons, Donald, Michael, Wesley, Jonathan, Don and Anthony Rundles, all of Cairo, Mark Rundles of Mound City; five daughters, Kathy Ramirez of Stockton, Calif., Teresa Long of Villa Ridge, Ramona Rundles, Kelly Maupin and Ruby Franklin, all of Cairo.
Also surviving is her mother, Eva Johnson of St. Louis; a sister, Joann Hammons of St. Louis; 29 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four children and three grandchildren.
