ANNA, Ill. -- Cynthia Lence, 90, of Anna died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at City Care Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1910, in Anna, daughter of William Singleton and Dora Hindman Lence.

Lence worked at the former Anna State Hospital 38 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Kevin Allen of Aledo, Ill.; and three great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lonnie Dale officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
