Cynthia Louise Fornkohl-Stoverink, 50, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the home of her sister in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 9, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, to August William Fornkohl and Dorothy Louise Hand-Fornkohl.

Cynthia was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and an alumni of Psi Chi Honor Society of Psychology.

Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Louise (Billy) Castile of Jackson, Jena Kristine Stoverink and Tracy Gail Stoverink of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Kenny Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Tammy Piatt of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Kaleigh, Karolyne and Karsen Castile of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial will follow.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Melanoma Research Foundation, 170 Township Line Road, Building B, Hillsborough, NJ 08844, or to the Cynthia Stoverink family in lieu of flowers.
