GLENWOOD, Ga. -- Cydnee J. Hamby of Glenwood, 63, formerly of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016.
Cydnee was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Cape Girardeau and later moved to Woodstock, where she lived for 32 years before moving to Glenwood.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Ray Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Hamby; a son, Randy Jo (Kimberly) Hamby; a daughter, Cydnee D. (Michael) Stanfield; two sisters, Margaret (Al) Stubbings and Linda Jones; a brother, Robert (Sarah) Johnson; grandchildren Cydnee K. Hamby, Jonathan Rader Hamby, Destiny Alexis Hamby and Logan Hamby; stepgrandchildren, Brittany N. Stanfield and Michael Charles Stanfield; and great-granddaughter Kathryn Ann Prince.
A celebration of life service was Tuesday at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel in Woodstock. Interment was at Sandy Plains Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
