GIPSY -- Curtis O. Wallace, 50, of Gipsy died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1949, at Kennett, son of Oran and Eva Peters Wallace. He and Anita Hopper were married May 4, 1968, at Cottage Hills, Ill. She died April 9, 1991. He married Sheila Campbell March 25, 1994, at Cape Girardeau.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and was a member of the Wappapello Eagles.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Wallace of Gipsy; a stepson, Curtis Campbell of Advance; two daughters, Linda Bailey of Zalma and Della Wallace of Bloomfield; four sisters, Laura Davis of Brownwood, Melba Lockhart of Dupo, Ill., Jaunita Frymyer of Florida and Flora Cookemboo of Gipsy; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Chapel at Advance.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Leon Corzine will officiate, with burial to follow at Berrong Cemetery.
