CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Curtis F. "Bockey" Smith, 57, of Kankakee, Ill., died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Riverside Hospital.
He was born June 25, 1943, at Chaffee, son of Otis and Bertha Kynion Smith. He and Patricia A. Windmiller were married Feb. 23, 1972, in Kankakee.
Smith was a laborer. He was a life member of VFW Post 2857 in Kankakee.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Weissbohn of Kankakee; three daughters, Terri Musselman, Christa Ward and Stacey Smith, all of Kankakee; four sisters, Lucille Lee, Annie Cobb, Jewel Fowler and Myrtle Steimle, all of Missouri; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
