MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Curtis Earl Long, 93, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at his home.

He was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Scopus, Mo., son of Grover and Catherine DeWitt Long. He first married Cleo Crites, who preceded him in death. He and Loveta Wiley were married Jan. 27, 1981.

Long was an assembly production worker at McDonnell-Douglas 30 years. He was a member of Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two stepdaughters, Brenda Halbert of Dexter, Mo., Paula Seabaugh of Marble Hill; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
