DEXTER, Mo. -- Curtis D. Coffey, 72, of Dexter died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1933, near Essex, Mo., son of Otto and Edna Zile Coffey. He and Joann Lankford were married Jan. 5, 1952, in Piggott, Ark.
Coffey lived in Dexter most of his life, and was formerly employed with AmerenUE.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Steve Coffey of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three daughters, Cindy Burkemper of O'Fallon, Mo., Patty Lambert of Dexter, Angie Keenan of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bud Coffey of Dexter; five sisters, Audrey Pulling of Parma, Mo., Martha Tucker of Grayridge, Mo., Loretta Mouser of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Opal Short of Neelyville, Mo., Jean Isbell of Dexter; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
