VIENNA, Ill. - Curtis Calvin George, 66, of Vienna, Ill. died Wednesday, March 10, 1993 at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 12, 1926 at Belknap, Ill. to Curtis W. and Dessye Caspar George.
In 1951, he married Ruth Wood. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Alan George of Belknap, Ill. and Neil George of Vienna, Ill.; one daughter, Vicky Johnson of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Joe George of Olmstead, Ill. and Preston George of Grand Chain, Ill; and three granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
George was manager of the feeder calf division of the Interstate Producer's Livestock Association of Goreville, Ill.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Whitnel Funeral Home in Vienna, Ill.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Vienna First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
