Curtis Wayne Burns, 51, of Scott City and formerly of Jackson died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1956, in Mossy Rock, Wash., son of Carlos "Bud" and Velma Jean Stady Burns. He married Pamela Umfleet.
Burns was a graduate of Jackson High School. He was an equipment operator with Associated Natural Gas Co. of Jackson.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dalton Burns; a daughter, Destiny Burns, all of Cape Gir-ardeau; his mother of Jackson; and a sister, Carla Knotts of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, with Dr. Grant F.C. Gillard officiating.
