Crulus N. Mayfield, 90, of Morley, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 16, 1911, in Patton, Mo., son of Coy N. and Carrie Green Mayfield. He and Burnice Smith were married May 25, 1935, in Morley, and she died March 19, 2000.
Mayfield owned and operated a service station and hardware store. He was a member of the Morley Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Wood of Jackson, Mo., and Sondra Phillips of Scott City, Mo.; a brother, Odel Mayfield of Sikeston, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Mo.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Thomas Bray will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley.
