Coy Lee Willard, 66, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at his home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 18, 1946, in Campbell, Mo., to Lawrence A. and Mary M. Dover Willard. He and Janet F. Voelker were married July 23, 2004, in Piggott, Ark.
Mr. Willard worked various factory jobs before working as a custodian at Cape Girardeau Middle School for 10 years before his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the First Church of God in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Janet F. Willard of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Vernon D. (Kelly) Willard of Campbell and Cory L. (companion, Marsha) Willard of Chambersburg, Penn.; three daughters, Charity Kerperien (Carl) Sarvey of Chambersburg, Penn., Jaxene (Jeff) Morgan of Bay St. Louis, Mo., and Crystal Williams of Elloree, S.C.; five brothers, Troy (Rosina) Willard of Cape Girardeau, Wesley (Jenny) Willard of Cape Girardeau, Alva (Ruth) Willard of Campbell, Bob (Orbylene) Willard of Campbell, and Dennis Willard of Campbell; a sister, Geraldine (Bill) Todd of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and their husbands, Mary Lou (Robert) Brooks and Wilma Ruth (Byron) Todd; a brother, Vernon "Dean" Willard; and a nephew, Randy Todd.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Roger Christiansen officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Crown Hospice.
