Corinne Comeau, 86, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Oct. 5, 1920, in New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Roy Hachey. She and Dr. Richard A. Comeau were married in 1942. He died in 1992.
Mrs. Comeau was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Parish in Dexter, and recently attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. She was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jane Comeau of Cape Girardeau, and a grandson, Richard Daniel Comeau of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Richard J. Comeau; three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Dexter Cemetery at a later date.
