SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Corina Lee DeLaney of Scott City will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday under the gazebo at Memorial Park. The Rev. Donny Ford will officiate.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
DeLaney, 26, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1991, at her home, after an illness of a few months.
She was born Oct. 27, 1964, in New Lennox, Ill., daughter of Albert and Cecelia Spreitzer Wallace. She married James DeLaney March 10, 1988, at Jackson.
DeLaney moved to Olive Branch, Ill., in 1980 from Chester, Ill. She was a nursing student at Cape Girardeau Vo-Tech School, and received the only honorary degree given by the school. She had previously worked at Havco, Jackson Manor, Cape Girardeau Nursing Center, and Schnucks.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Rhiannon and Shealin DeLaney of the home; her mother of Olive Branch; four brothers, Sam and Richard Wallace of Olive Branch, George Wallace of Highland, Ill., and Garland Wallace of Edwardsville, Ill.
