COREY E. KING

Cory E. King, 15, of 327 Morgan Oak died Sunday, June 19, 1994, in an automobile accident at the 1500 block of South Sprigg.

He was born June 14, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Robin and Tammy Burton King. He was a student at Cape Central Junior High, and he played baseball for the Junior Babe Ruth Baseball League in Cape. He also was a member of the Church of God in Cape.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Cindy King, both of Jackson; a brother, Gregory S. King, of Cape Girardeau; a half-brother, Bobby King of Indiana; a step-brother, Dylan Polen of Jackson; a sister, Tara N. King of Cape Girardeau; and a step-sister, Dana King of Jackson. King resided with his aunt and uncle Robin and Jeff Burton of Cape Girardeau.

Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Burton of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandparents, Buford and Faye King of Jackson; maternal great-grandmother, Florence Rains of Cape Girardeau; and paternal great-grandmother, Zona King of Delta. He was preceded in death by his mother Tammy King in December 1985.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Donald Estes will officiate, and burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
