CORA M. BORGFIELD

Cora M. Borgfield, 83, of Jackson died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at the Heritage Gardens Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Aug. 8, 1913, near Fruitland, daughter of August and Eugenia Puchbauer Borgfield.

She moved to Jackson in 1953. She moved to the nursing home in 1994.

She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ of Fruitland.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Agnes Borgfield of Cape Girardeau; nieces Dorothy Peetz of Jackson, LaVerne Lloyd of Perryville and Elsie Gerecke of Gordonville; and nephews Cletus Borgfield of Jackson, Harry Borgfield of Arnold, and Bud Winkler of Villa Ridge, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a niece.

Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. David Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
