Cora Lee Garrett, 89, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994, at the Lutheran Home. She was born April 20, 1905, in Delta, daughter of Daniel and Margaret R. Franklin Gilder. She and Arthur R. Garrett were married Sept. 19, 1924, in Cape Girardeau. He died Oct. 3, 1944...

Cora Lee Garrett, 89, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born April 20, 1905, in Delta, daughter of Daniel and Margaret R. Franklin Gilder. She and Arthur R. Garrett were married Sept. 19, 1924, in Cape Girardeau. He died Oct. 3, 1944.

Garrett worked at International Shoe Co. 30 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Nations of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Wesley Wright officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
