Conrad Paul Klusmeier Sr., 82, went to his heavenly Father on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017.
He was the son of Conrad and Adaline Farmer Klusmeier from Lynnville, Indiana. Paul was born Aug. 1, 1935, and was raised in Lynnville.
He attended Evansville College. He loved to fish and hunt, and collect guns and pistols over his lifetime. Paul loved to tell stories of hunting experiences he shared with his buddies.
His life was like a "Tom Sawyer" life, for he was always on the go and getting into some kind of adventure.
He met and married Jean Morris and moved to St. Louis, where he worked different positions at York International.
Being a Christian man, just before his death he looked up like he was talking to the angels and said, "I understand." Now he rests in heavenly peace.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Klusmeier; children, Mary Klusmeier Cate, Conrad Paul (Stacy) Klusmeier II and Patricia Klusmeier Frederick; a sister, JoAnn Klusmeier (Charles) Caswell; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Revs. Tommy Miller and Kevin Ropp officiating. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Lucas Cemetery in St. Louis.
