O'FALLON, Ill. -- Connie Sue Wissman, 60, of O'Fallon passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, with her family by her side.

She was born April 9, 1958, in Cape Girardeau to Orville and LaVerne Moore Warner. She and Rodney Wissman were married Nov. 8, 1975.

Connie was a 1976 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist in Cape Girardeau and attended Spring Valley Baptist Church in Shiloh, Illinois.

Connie worked as a merchandiser and in sales for Mondelez for 12 years. She loved her family and spending time with them. Making sure their needs were met was her top priority.

Survivors include her parents, Orville and LaVerne Warner of Cape Girardeau; husband, Rodney Wissman of O'Fallon; two daughters, Tori Wissman (Leanne Chapline) of O'Fallon and Amber (Ian) Landwehrmier of St. Louis; son, Travis Wissman of O'Fallon; brother, Ray Warner of Cape Girardeau; sister, Beverly Warner of West Memphis, Arkansas; grandchildren, Colten Wayne Wissman, Isabella Faith Chapline and Livi Mae Landwehrmier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Baker.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
