BENTON, Mo. -- Connie Sue Harper Washburn, 57, of Benton died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 10, 1943, in Flint, Mich., daughter of Clifton and Dorothy Thorne Hawkins. She and Hershel E. Washburn were married Oct. 11, 1996, at Blodgett, Mo.
She had been a heat seal operator at Blair Industries in Scott City, Mo., since 1986.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Glenburn J. Harper Jr. of Scott City and Travis L. Harper and Brandon J. Harper, both of Benton; a stepson, Hershel R. Washburn of Benton; two daughters, Gwendolyn Jackson of West Plains, Mo., and Kimberly A. Austin of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Patricia Washburn of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Leslie Ann Washburn of Sikeston, Mo.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Mo.
