NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Connie Sue Taylor, 55, of Williamsville, Mo., died Friday, July 21, 2006, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Randles. She and John Taylor were married on June 8, 1985, in Valley Station, Ky. He survives in Williamsville.
Taylor was a medical records clerk and a charter member of the New Life Gospel Center in Scott City.
Survivors include a son, John Reeves and wife, Michelle, of Whitewater, Mo.; a daughter, Rhonda Billings and husband, William, of Wappapello, Mo.; two adopted children, Bruce and Lori Reid of Chaffee; two sisters, Virgina William of Greenville, Mo. and Myrtle Ruth Meyers of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, the Rev Jack Owens and Ronnie Owens, both of Scott City, and Floyd Owens of Chaffee; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A private family visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Revs. Robert Edwards and Jack Owens officiating.
