Connie Marie Nebel, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 27, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to Robert R. and Bonnie L. Wulfers Miller. She and Steve F. Nebel were married May 18, 1991, in Cape Girardeau.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1973. Connie was the office manager for the family business, Day Transfer Co.
Her hobbies were trout fishing, camping and golf. She volunteered at Cape Senior Center.
She is survived by her husband, Steve F. Nebel of Cape Girardeau; mother, Bonnie L. Miller of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Carol (Mike) Crawford of Gordonville and Christy (Greg) Withers of Jackson; three nieces, Casey Crawford, Abby Withers and Katy Withers; nephew, Trenton Crawford; and special companion, Massey.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Notre Dame Regional High School.
