Comfort Mae Craig, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 30, 1915, at Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of Peter Monroe and Barbara A. Betteuo Craig.
Craig attended school in Bollinger County, and graduated from Lutesville High School. She had been a clerk at Sterling Department Store. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Ivan "Doc" Craig of Scott City, Mo., Paul Craig of Tipton, Ind.; and a sister, Ruth Harlan of Pasadena, Texas.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery at Marble Hill, Mo.
