COLLETTE WILFONG

ZALMA -- Collette Wilfong, 66, of Zalma died Friday, July 23, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 17, 1932, at Zalma, daughter of Phynie and Dovie Hedrick Shirrell. She and John D. Wilfong were married Jan. 16, 1959, at Zalma. He died Oct. 2, 1972.

Wilfong retired from Inmont Rubber Product Co. in St. Louis. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary in Advance.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Wilfong of the home; a brother, Bill Shirrell of Zalma; two sisters, Lita Thornburgh of Silva, and Judy Powell of High Ridge.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bob Porter will officiate. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill.
