BENTON -- Funeral mass for Coletta Barbara Hebenstreit of Benton will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Denis Catholic Church. The Rev. Art Basler will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Benton after 2 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Hebenstreit, 90, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1993, at her home.
She was born March 16, 1902, at Apple Creek, daughter of Hugo and Catherine Winkler Buchheit. She and Henry Hebenstreit were married March 8, 1921, at Jackson. He died Dec. 8, 1966.
Hebenstreit was a member of St. Denis Church, Altar Society of the church, and Scott City Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Felix, Edward and Gerald Hebenstreit of St. Louis; four daughters, Margaret Adams of Lonedell, June Schaeffer and Virginia Pyatt of St. Louis, Betty Raye of Hillsboro; a brother, Cornelius Buchheit of Alta Loma, Calif.; four sisters, Ida Halter of Oran, Juletta Ponder and Alfreida Stroeher of St. Louis, Rita Brice of DeSoto; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
