PARMA -- Clyta M. Overfield, 96, of Parma, died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, at Malden Nursing Center in Malden. She was born June 26, 1899, in Mississippi County, daughter of Lee and Daisy Marshall Henley. She and George W. Overfield were married Oct. 11, 1917, in Dunklin County. He died Feb. 5, 1985...

PARMA -- Clyta M. Overfield, 96, of Parma, died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, at Malden Nursing Center in Malden.

She was born June 26, 1899, in Mississippi County, daughter of Lee and Daisy Marshall Henley. She and George W. Overfield were married Oct. 11, 1917, in Dunklin County. He died Feb. 5, 1985.

Overfield had lived in the Parma community all her life, and was a member of Parma General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd Overfield of West Haven, Conn.; a daughter, Jewell Hale of Richmond Heights; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma from 3-5 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Terry Williams and Don Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Old Malden Park Cemetery at Malden.
